Really great company. I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but this group has excellent communication, they were prompt to pick us up, and the drivers were friendly and knowledgeable. I have only positive things to say about them. It was also cheaper than renting a car large enough for a group of 5.

We used Sunny Sicily for an entire week in Sicily in October. They took us to several wine tastings with lunch (I let them pick). They were always on time and in spotless vehicle's. Marco Picked us at the airport, Paolo the owner drove us one day and we had Patrick for several days. Patrick was funny, informative and always gave us great advice. Claire in the office always returned my emails promptly and was very helpful. We absolutely would recommend Sunny Sicily and would use them again.

We had an amazing tour of Siracusa with Paolo. He showed us so much of the area and gave us just the right amount of time to explore on our own. We learned so much about Sicily.

Sunny Sicily arranged an excellent local driver who took us to all the places used to film the television series Commissario Montalbano. It was a hassle free way to see a lot in one day and never have to worry about directions or parking. We ate gooey arancine at a place mostly frequented by locals at Ragusa Ibla, bought gritty Modica chocolate, and even took our photo inside the real restaurant used for the scenes where Montalbano takes his seaside lunches. Although our driver spoke little English, he played recordings with information about the specific places we visited while enroute. I do speak Italian and so I also got to learn about his life as a young musician and music producer and about his years growing up in town of Comiso. Those insights from a local were a real bonus for me that went beyond just the advertised tour.

We had the most wonderful vacation in Sicily and we owe it to Sunny Sicily! Claire planned many day trips and transfers for my family. The drivers always arrived ahead of schedule. The vans were beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The drivers were so amazing and some of them really helped make our days so memorable and special! If I am lucky enough to return to Sicily I will definitely use Sunny Sicily again. Thanks to Claire who handled all the planning and even had to make a very last minute change for us and did so effortlessly. Thank you, Claire! Our tour commenced with the pickup precisely as arranged.We had an excellent vehicle and were driven well,to the exact destinations and timings expected.We had no anxiety about meeting our drop off rendezvous to public transport. The tour was advertised as a Montalbano film locations tour,but we were surprised to receive no more detailed information than the town names ,and one or two buildings, mentioned in the advertising.We had expected something much more specific.Our driver had an excellent knowledge of Sicilian geography and lifestyle,but could not advise about the special subject of the tour. Anyone contemplating this tour should therefore expect to need to do their own research.

Generally, this tour was terrific. We had a problem with pick up because the office mistakenly sent the driver to the wrong pick up location, which caused us to wait a great deal before starting out on the tour. Because I speak Italian, the tour was even more meaningful to me, having seen the episodes many times and having read the books. Our guide was well informed and funny, and the villages we visited along the way were magical. I would say that if you are a mad Montalbano fan, as I am, this is worth the price.

Book ahead of time. Do not take any waiting taxi offerings. Excellent service. Safe and courteous driver who was very professional. Sunny Sicily makes it a smooth exit from airport to destination. A dependable / reliable company.

We booked the Montalbano tour at very short notice for six us. Claire was wonderful in the office and helped me organise everything. The day itself was brilliant and we got to see way more than I had hoped. The car was clean, spacious and so very comfortable. My daughter who is prone to get travel sickness never once felt sick which is testimony to how skilful our driver was. The real highlight was our driver Patrick. From his warm morning greetings outside our rented house to the goodbyes later than evening , he was an absolute gentleman. Apart from his impeccable appearance, he was warm, funny and very informative about the sites and the history of Sicily. He shared stories from his life, kept us very entertained with Sicilian lore and was an absolute mine of information on the history of many of the areas. He was attentive to both my elderly mother, my daughters and all our needs on the day trip from food to toilet breaks. I felt all the tension leave my shoulders the minute we got in the car with him and we really enjoyed the day. Thank you to all at Sunny Sicily.

Because of the way we organized our Sicilian holiday, we experienced different drivers every few days. With absolute certainty, I can say the drivers were professional, courteous and safe. My family and I (2 adults, 2 children) used SunnySicily's services to drive us around the island on our 2 weeks in Sicily. We became so close with Patrick, the most wonderful human, that we also asked him to join us for meals - - he was an incredible driver, but an even better human being. He cared for our wellbeing, safety, he educated us and was so passionate about his country and Ortigia in particular. 10/10 experience that made our travels much more enjoyable and relaxing. Highly recommend (and, ask for Patrick!).

We took the Nero d'Avola wine tasting tour with Dominic. We went to two wineries and tasted about 15 different wines total and had a huge meal and a snack afterwards! The wineries were totally different from each other, so we felt like we got a good sense of the region and the wines made. At both we toured the vineyards and the cellars. Dominic was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and provided so much information. He spoke perfect English and answered my many questions. Everything ran right on time. Can't recommend highly enough!

Claire was awesome to deal with. She was very accommodating and the drivers were great. I recommend this company if you ever go to sicily.

We had the best experience due to using SunnySicily! First of all from the very beginning, I had outstanding correspondence through Claire! She was responsive and professional in all of our emails. Our driver, Dominic, was so professional, knowledgeable and kind. He spoke fluent English which helped us so much in my quest to seek information records on my Great Grandfather from Librizzi Sicily. When we went to the first town, it was not where he was from s But he was able to get the next town in which we were successful! We then rode with Dominic the next day to a winery and to Savoca. Again he picked us up, professional and very nice. We felt like VIPs! I would highly recommend SunnySicily if you need a driver for your visit to Sicily!

Leave the driving to Sunny Sicily and sit back and relax. When planning our trip we debated about hiring a car or paying for drivers. The best decision we made was leaving the driving to Sunny Sicily. We were driven from our hotel in Palermo, To Syracusa, and then from Syracuse to Taormina and then from Termina to Catania airport. Both of our drivers were amazing. Were wonderful English speakers arrived on time with impeccable cars and were very good and safe drivers. Sunny Sicily even made lunch reservations for us at one of our best meals as a stop over. Don’t think twice book Sunny Sicily for all your driving!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with SunnySicily. The drivers were very professional, punctual, and kind. The vehicles were great. Their management went above and beyond. They realized that I had incorrectly booked the time of one of our rides, and thus we would have potentially missed our departure flight, and proactively reached out to us to adjust times to make sure our travel home didn’t result in disaster. Despite it being late in the evening, Claire helped coordinate with the driver to make sure we were all set. They really went above and beyond to make sure that our trip went smoothly. I can’t recommend this company enough!
