Excellent company! Super responsive and clear. You can 100% relay on excellent service, a lovely car and a wonderful transfer / tour. We used Sunny Sicily for a group of 5 adults, plus baggage to go from Palermo to Taormina with a lovely stop in Cefalu for lunch and shopping. Highly recommend. Giancarlo was our guide / driver and was excellent!

We arranged a transfer from Taormina to Palermo with some winery stops along the way. Our driver Dominic was great and the company arranged everything. We wanted to do a winery around Mt Etna and then another one more in the center of sicily so we could see more of the island on our drive. They contacted the wineries to set it up and everythign was amazing. Picked up in Taromina around 10am, stopped at 2 wineries and were dropped off in Palermo around 6:30 pm

The tour was fantastic! Pierpaolo was very helpful and let us set the pace. The drive was very comfortable and Pier kept us entertained with facts of Sicily. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who asks. Susan

We really appreciated the service provided by Sunny Sicily. We arranged for two transfers and one of the tours listed on the Sunny Sicily website. Marcello was great to work with in setting up the types of touring we wished to do prior to the trip. PierPaolo was our driver and he was excellent. He was so friendly and definitely planned our days well. The timing in Ragusa and Módica (one of our transfer days) was perfect . PierPaolo provided so much interesting info when we were in Noto (another transfer day) since he considers it his town. We highly recommend him as a driver. The wineries on the Nero d’Avola tour were great and the winery lunch was wonderful. I highly recommend this particular Sunny Sicily website tour. We were totally happy with the transfers and tours.

We used Sunny Sicily services several times on our recent trip to Sicily. The first was to take us to the small village where my husband's great grandfather was born. There was no other way to get there and our driver, Dominic was wonderful and so helpful with translations and historical information along the way. We were fortunate to have Dominic again to take us on a tour to Mt. Etna from Taormina. Again - his knowledge of the area made this experience very special. Lastly, when a train strike might have stranded us, Sunny Sicily came to the rescue to get us to Palermo. This service is one of the best parts of our trip. We struggled for a bit to find a tour company that would be able provide us with a private driver for our group of 5 adults and 2 preteens in the Palermo area. Thankfully, we came upon Sunny Sicily and were extremely impressed. Heading to Sicily and Palermo for the first time, our group didn’t have a strong sense of which activities might make the most sense for us or what might be the most feasible. Even with our fairly vague requests, Marcello at Sunny Sicily was happy to provide us with great options we would have never found ourselves. We were really impressed with the quality of communication during the trip planning, and when the time came for our actual excursions everything went perfectly. Our driver honestly went the extra mile for use and really helped make the trip even better for us time and time again. Our experience with Sunny Sicily was beyond outstanding. First, let me extend my highest praise for our driver, Dominic. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. In fact, after the first excursion, we hoped that he would be our driver for the second one, which he was. He was everything one would expect of a professional driver: punctual, courteous, and an expert driver. Both excursions, Villa Romana and Mt. Etna, met all expectations, but the Mt. Etna and wine tasting exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Elfi, was extremely knowledgeable, informative, and highly professional. Hiking with her was a true learning experience. As for the wine tasting, what can I say? Our guide, Martina, conducted us through a tour of the vineyard, wine cellar, and tasting with expertise. The copious lunch was delicious and the wine outstanding. We bought a few bottles to savor at home. Finally, I would like to thank you and your organization for exceptional service. We hope to return to Sicily to explore other parts of the island and when we do, we will be using Sunny Sicily to help us in that endeavor.

I stumbled across Sunny Sicily and I am thrilled that I did. We used them twice while in Taormina for private tours. The drivers were prompt, professional and pleasant. When it is summer in Sicily, having an air conditioned car to tour in is key. I cannot say enough great things about this company and plan on using them again in the future.

We really appreciated the service provided by Sunny Sicily. We booked two transfer days with some touring (totally 8 hrs each transfer). We also booked the Nero d'Avola tour that Sunny Sicily describes on their website. Working with Sunny Sicily to set up the tours to our liking was easy. I worked through Marcello to set things up and he quickly responded to all of my email questions and requests. PierPaolo was our driver and he was excellent. He was so friendly and definitely planned our days well. The timing in Ragusa and Módica was perfect. PierPaolo provided so much interesting info when we were in Noto since he considers it his town. His English was great. We highly recommend him as a driver. The wineries on the Nero d’Avola tour were great and the winery lunch was wonderful. We were totally happy with the transfers and tours.

Everything was great. The tours were just what we were looking for. Highlights were market visits and cooking classes. We particularly appreciated Gianluca’s tour in Palermo. Drivers were always on time and easy to talk to. very smooth process with no stress on our end.

I came across Sunny Sicily by chance on TripAdvisor. After reading all the wonderful reviews, I decided to book several transfers & guides with them. This was one of the best decisions I made for my recent trip through Sicily. The first trip was from Agrigento through Ragusa & Noto ending in Siracusa. The driver, Paolo was fantastic as was the Mercedes SUV he drove. We met our guide, Roberto for Ragusa and Noto, and he was also terrific. We continued our trip using Sunny Sicily for several transfers, but had also booked other guides. When one guide cancelled, I called Marcello to ask if he could arrange a last minute transfer from Taormina to Palermo with a stop in Polizzi Generosa where my grandfather was born. I also asked if he could arrange to find out anything about my grandfather as he died before I was born and I had very little information about his family. Marcello asked for the information I had, which I immediately sent, but he had less than a week to arrange this. He told me he did find a guide, Enrico who could do some research but time was limited. I cannot believe how much Enrico uncovered in such a short period of time. I was stunned, amazed and so happy to learn so much about my grandfather, his siblings, his father and where he lived. We waked through the city seeing his church and streets where he and his family lived. It was incredible. Enrico also translated the birth certificates for me. It was an unbelievable experience. We saw so much of Sicily in this trip, and it was incredible, but I must say the highlight of the trip was visiting Polizzi Generosa. Sunny Sicily made this trip amazing for me. I would rate them with 10 stars if I could. Molto molto Grazie!!!

I am so happy that we found Sunny Sicily. With Marcello's attention to the planning of our trip and Dominic’s broad knowledge of the area made the trip an amazing experience. We truly felt the team was way more than a transport company. From the wineries to the scenic stops, to the dining, everything was top notch. Everyone was professional, attentive, and welcoming. We feel we got to know Dominic as a friend in the couple of days we spent together!

If I could give this company 10 stars I would. We used Sunny Sicily to take us to a small town where my husband’s great grandfather was born. Our driver Dominic was so wonderful. Helped us with translation and provided lots of historical information along the way. We then used Sunny Sicily again for a tour of Mt Etna. Luckily for us we had Dominic again. THEN when the railroad strike cancelled our trains to Palermo, they helped us get to Palermo!!! This was the best, personal service we could have ever hoped for!!

The trip was absolutely fantastic. . Your drivers and guides are the best! You made all the logistics so easy! The drivers were all so timely and so pleasant ! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Sicily.

My husband and I took the Inspector Montalbano tour and enjoyed the day immensely. Our driver was on time, courteous, knowledgeable, and personable. The car was very comfortable and the driver was excellent. Montalbano was only part of the tour and we were sorry not to see the town where the outdoor shots of the headquarters is located, but we did see the outside of his house in Marinella (Punta Secca) and the beach, the trattoria where he dined regularly and the lovely town of Ragusa which stands in for Vigata. We also visited Modica, a beautiful hill town, where we had lunch and visited a locally famous chocolatier, and we made a stop in the Baroque town of Noto with its buildings of a golden local stone. All in all a memorable and delightful experience.

Each driver was wonderful! We were so impressed with their knowledge, education, conversation , courtesy, appreciation of our humor and needs. We trusted each of them 100% which is important for four women in a foreign country. What a group of over the top professionals! From the airport to Palermo, Segesta, Erice, Trapani, Scaicca, Agrigenta, Ortigia, Noto, Bronte, Randazzo, Taormina and Catania…we got to know and love you all! Thank you for a trip of a lifetime!"

The wine tour was amazing and our tour guide Marco was the best we have ever experienced! The Tenuta di Fessina winery was incredible!! This is a must do on your Sicily list.
