HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We used Sunny Sicily for both airport transfers, trips to and from Palermo to Taormina, and to Siracusa in late July. Everything was organized through Marcello, who was extremely responsive, thorough, and detail oriented. He also checked in throughout the trip to continue to confirm details and everything was perfect. We had multiple wonderful drivers, who were timely, knowledgeable, and friendly. All spoke English. Pierpaolo, Patrick, and Giancarlo were our favorites. Pierpaolo transported us across the island multiple times and was great about making restroom stops as needed and kindly treated my husband to an espresso. We really enjoyed getting to know him. Patrick gave us a tour around the island of Ortigia to help familiarize us with the island. Giancarlo gave us some terrific history and pointed out stops along the way in Palermo. Everyone really went above and beyond. The vehicles were beautiful (all Mercedes) and perfect for our family of 4. Everyone was very comfortable space-wise and with air conditioning. I would highly recommend using this service and would definitely use them again on future trips to Sicily!

Great trip with the family. My wife and I and 3 kids. Our driver Paolo was great and we really enjoyed the farm tours especially the cheese farm. Guides were solid and well spoken. I would definitely use this company again on my return to Sicily.

We found SunnySicily through Rick Steve book and from the moment we spoke with Paolo and Marcello, we received great attention and care to ensure that all our needs were met . Even our last minute requests were accommodated. A special thank you to our driver Pierre, who was incredibly friendly and kind. We always felt safe and comfortable and his warm personality made the journey even more enjoyable. Natalie and Luigi, our tour guides, were exceptional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They made every place come alive with fascinating stories. Overall, we had wonderful experience with transportations and tour guides.

We enjoyed our guided tour in Piazza Armerina and he made a surprise stop in Caltagirone which was very nice and we enjoyed. The trattoria for lunch was delicious! I booked a day trip for 2 with Sunny Sicily to take us from Siracusa to Ragusa and Modica. Marcello was in contact with us to confirm all of the details via whatapp before the trip. Patricio was a wonderful driver and he offered us plenty of time and advice at each of our stops. It made seeing both towns so seamless and stress free. Highly recommened.

We used this company to organize three private days in Sicily during our cruise, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. Every transfer, guide, and stop was carefully planned, and the communication before and during the trip was outstanding. In Syracuse, our driver met us right at the port and took us to Noto for a visit to Caffè Sicilia, followed by a tour and wine tasting and lite lunch. The timing was perfect, the vehicle was comfortable, and our driver was punctual, friendly, and very professional. We never felt rushed, but we were always back at the ship with plenty of time to spare. From Porto Empedocle, we spent the morning at the Valley of the Temples and then continued to an almond and olive farm, where we learned about local agriculture and enjoyed delicious tastings. The day flowed smoothly, with tickets, timings, and driving distances all clearly thought through in advance. It was a great mix of history, scenery, and authentic Sicilian food. In Trapani, our driver‑guide helped us explore the area where my grandmother was from, which was very meaningful for our family. They shared local history and personal stories, walked with us through the town, and recommended a wonderful restaurant where we enjoyed a memorable meal. The guide clearly knew the area well and was sensitive to the emotional side of a roots visit, which made the day truly special. Traveling with four adults, we really appreciated how stress‑free everything was. All pickups were on time, the vans were clean and comfortable, and every day was customized to exactly what we wanted to see. Honestly I can't write a strong enough review for Sunny Sicily. Our guide Giancarlo exceeded any possible expectation. We hired them two days in advance of our trip with gave very little detail. Giancarlo did not care. He jumped in with nothing but passion and dedication. We were visiting the town my family came from. He made every effort to make sure our visit was unique and special which it certainly was. I can't say thank you enough.

Today was one of the best experiences of our lives. SunnySicily's level of service was way more than expected. What started out as simply hiring a driver to take us to a remote town to see where my grandfather was born, turned into a day where lifelong memories were made. From the moment our driver Patrick greeted us in the morning until he dropped us off, he was always attentive to our needs and went above and beyond with translating for us. He walked up and down the old Sicilian village and interpreted for us stories of my family's past, stories that would have been lost to time if not for him translating, ensuring we understood not only the words but the meaning. I had a 8 day itinerary in Sicily that just wrapped up. I flew into Palermo > and went Cefalu > Taoromina > Ortigia > Marzamemi > Pozollo Ferry terminal. Marcello and team at Sunny Sicily handled every transfer between these towns seamlessly. Excellent communication, excellent drivers in clean Mercedes cars and vans. He quoted it all up front, I paid in advance and all of the travel stress was handled. I had one driver (Dominic) three times. He was great at filling in all of the historical tidbits and setting me up for success in each town with restaurants and the type of wine I should be looking for etc. Highly recommend Sunny Sicily - I think I barely scratched the surface on what they can do because I know they do lots of fantastic tours as well but for seamless transfers this is a no-brainer.

I enjoyed a full day out with a chauffeured tour of Cefalu and Castelbueno. It was great. My driver, Dominic was terrific. He was a great driver and had a great deal of knowledge about the history of the places we visited . He also knew a lot about the local history of the places we passed through. Sunny Sicily were amazing. We had paulo for a driver most of the time. He was on time and friendly and very informative about the area. We would use sunny Sicily again in a heartbeat.

We worked with Sunny Sicily during the first half of our trip, and everyone from the company was fantastic. They were on time for all pick ups and were so flexible and accommodating for our large group of 7 (ages 1 yr to 70 yrs). One of our tours had to be modified because of the snow on Mr. Etna and Sunny Sicily did a wonderful job making the experience fun and memorable despite the change of plans. Sunny Sicily also planned a customized day trip to Acireale for us so we could attend Carnevale, and it was the highlight of our trip! The rain cancelled the morning parade we had planned to attend, but the tour operator connected with Sunny Sicily pivoted and was able to schedule private tours of the two biggest floats in the parade, which was incredible. Then our driver Paolo was so kind and understanding and let us stay 30 mins later than planned so we could see part of the afternoon parade once the weather cleared. Overall, we would highly recommend Sunny Sicily for both transfers and tours during your time in Sicily!
